Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank; PSE: MBT) is one of the Philippines' largest universal banks, founded in 1962 by Dr. George S.K. Ty. Affiliated with GT Capital Holdings, it offers consumer and corporate banking, lending, credit cards, wealth management, and trust services through a nationwide branch and ATM network plus overseas offices. It posted record FY2025 net income of ₱49.7 billion with total assets of about ₱3.88 trillion, and is the parent of thrift bank PSBank.
