## Overview

Paywatch is an Earned Wage Access (EWA) platform that lets employees withdraw a portion of wages they have already earned before payday, repaid via payroll deduction at no debt to the worker. Founded in South Korea in 2020 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, it operates across Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong. It entered the Philippines in November 2023 through local entity Paywatch Philippines Finance Corporation, a BSP-registered Operator of Payment Systems, serving employers such as Shangri-La, TELUS Digital Philippines, and Sagility.
