## Overview

Plentina is a Filipino-American fintech building alternative credit access in emerging markets. Through its Philippine lending arm, Plentina Lending, Inc. (SEC-registered), it offers a buy-now-pay-later app letting consumers split payments and build credit history at 60+ partner merchants including SM, Robinsons, Shopee, Lazada, Grab and foodpanda, with repayment via e-wallets or over-the-counter at 7-Eleven. Founded in 2019 by Stanford classmates Kevin Gabayan (ex-Google/NASA) and Earl Valencia, it has raised over US$5M from Techstars, 500 Startups, TMV and Global Founders Capital.
