## Overview

Remitly is a digital cross-border money-transfer service and one of the largest remittance providers serving the Philippines, a top global corridor it has prioritized since 2013. Filipinos abroad use the Remitly app to send money home, with recipients receiving funds via GCash and other e-wallets, direct bank deposit, or cash pickup at thousands of pawnshop and agent locations nationwide. It is operated locally by Remitly Philippines, Inc. (a BSP-registered Operator of Payment System with major operations offices in Makati and BGC, Taguig) under parent Remitly Global, Inc.
