## Overview

Round One is the Philippines' first SEC-licensed equity crowdfunding platform, operated by Eastern Securities Development Corporation (ESDC), a stock brokerage and Philippine Stock Exchange member since 1977. Launched in 2022, the platform lets Filipino startups and SMEs raise growth capital through the public sale of equity securities, while investors can browse vetted campaigns and commit funds online. Round One conducts due diligence on both issuers and investors, and has hosted fundraises for companies including Cocotel, Tipaklong, UNAWA and Filipay.
