## Overview

Security Bank Corporation (PSE: SECB) is a Philippine universal bank founded in 1951 as the country's first private, Filipino-controlled bank after WWII. Headquartered in Makati, it is controlled by the Dy family, with Japan's MUFG Bank holding a 20% strategic stake since 2016. It offers retail, business, corporate and investment banking, credit cards, and wealth management through its branch network, ATMs, and the Security Bank App. In 2025 it posted record net income of ₱11.6 billion on total assets of about ₱1.2 trillion.
