Home Credit Philippines (HC Consumer Finance Philippines, Inc.) is the country's largest consumer-finance company, operating since 2013. It pioneered in-store point-of-sale installment loans — 0% and low-interest financing for phones, gadgets, appliances and motorcycles at partner retailers — and has grown into cash loans, the Home Credit credit card, and Qwarta, an in-app BNPL wallet for QR payments, bills and online shopping. A financing company (not a bank), it has served 13M+ customers and disbursed over ₱320B in loans since 2013 (as of 2024). It is now owned by Thailand's Krungsri (75%) and Security Bank (25%); ultimate parent MUFG.
