(DA5) is a Makati-based Philippine fintech and money service business founded in 2006, originally as one of Western Union's largest authorized agents with a nationwide footprint of over 1,800 partner locations. DA5 offers remittance, foreign exchange, bills payment, merchant acquiring and crypto exchange (DX5), and runs SurgePay, its BSP-licensed hybrid digital wallet for blockchain-based international transfers, crypto cash-in/out, bills payment and microloans. It is one of the few entities holding BSP EMI, VASP and EPFS licences simultaneously.
