    Overview

KOMO is the all-digital banking service of East West Rural Bank, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of EastWest Banking Corporation (PSE: EW). Launched in May 2020 as the first exclusively digital banking service offered by a Philippine universal banking group, KOMO lets customers open an account in minutes and save, transfer funds, and pay bills entirely through its mobile app — no branch required. It offers a free Visa debit card, free fund transfers, and bills payment. KOMO operates under EastWest Rural Bank's BSP licence and is a PDIC member. (The name stands for "kontrol mo ang pera mo".)
