Payday Today is an Earned Wage Access (EWA) app from Cebu-based GoodApps, Inc. that lets employees draw a portion of their already-accrued salary before payday and transfer it to any bank or e-wallet. Free for participating employers and charging employees no interest on the wages they access, it aims to reduce reliance on high-cost loans during pay gaps. The app works through a web portal where employers enroll workers and release wage credits, and was built with support from a DOST-PCIEERD Startup Grant Fund award. GoodApps is a BSP-registered Operator of Payment System.
